In 1931 Parker-Holsman Co. began managing cooperative apartment buildings in the Hyde Park and South Shore neighborhoods of Chicago. Today, the properties we manage include rental buildings, condominiums, cooperatives, retail properties, and office space throughout the south side. We specialize in the maintenance and renovation of properties constructed prior to 1930. We endeavor to retain the original character of the buildings while meeting the real estate needs of today.
Clients get to know Parker-Holsman Co., through a specific service. They live or work in a building we manage. Our insurance staff helps them evaluate and cover their exposure to loss. One of our agents helps them buy or sell property. However, our clients quickly realize that we see these services as parts of a whole. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, we will be closed on the Friday before the holiday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, we will be closed on the Monday after the holiday.
